This residency has already passed.

Location and Venue
The Denver, CO Residency will be held June 13-17, 2007 at the Adam’s Mark-Denver.  Located in the heart of downtown Denver, the Adam’s Mark is approximately 23 miles from the Denver International Airport.  Take advantage of the great opportunities offered at this residency to achieve the residency's goals of skill building, socialization, scholarship, and social change advocacy.

The Adam’s Mark-Denver offers a variety of venues on-site for dinner and socialization; including the Bravo! Ristorante, Capitol Bar, Supreme Court Café & Nightclub, Trattoria Colorado, and more!  The convenient downtown location is adjacent to the 16th Street Mall with 12-blocks of shopping and dining opportunities.  The 16th Street Mall is a pedestrian walkway with a free shuttle service.  Located on and near this area are a number of artistic and cultural activities, and is only three blocks from the State Capitol building.

Travel
For this residency, those students who are flying will want to fly into the Denver International Airport.  The Adam’s Mark is located approximately 30 minutes from the airport.  You should make flight arrangements only after receiving a Confirmation E-mail of your residency registration from the Residencies Team.

Accommodations
The room fee is $139/night.  Take advantage of the Walden University room block for its convenient location near academic sessions.  With the extra time you’ll have in the morning, you will be able to make the most of your experience at the residency--socialize and network to establish a support system of faculty, staff, and fellow students.  As part of the room block, you'll also enjoy high-speed Internet access in your sleeping room at no additional cost.

Students must make room reservations by Tuesday, May 22, 2007 simply by calling the Adam’s Mark reservations line at 1.800.444.2326, indicating the reservation is with the Walden University room block.  Rooms in the block are available to students on a first-come/first-serve basis; the hotel may reach capacity so act fast to reserve your room!  Once the room block is full, if rooms are still available in the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to increase the room rates prior to the room block deadline (Tuesday, May 22, 2007).

Registration Information
Residency registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning on April 4th at 10:00am Central Daylight Time.  Please register early to guarantee a place in the residency.  If you register less than three weeks prior to the residency, there is not a guarantee that you will have your name included in all printed materials.

Students who request to register after the residency has reached its maximum capacity may be placed on a waitlist and contacted if space becomes available.  Check the website for your program (menu at left for Ph.D., Ed.D., or MS in MHC) to see which residencies are open for registration.
