Writing Annotations Writing Annotations Remember that your task in an annotation is to show your knowledge as a critical reader andwriter-- don't just regurgitate what's in the article by way of a simple summary. Annotation requirements differ from assignment to assignment, and take note you may not be able to use first person as these first two examples do. KAM students, look at pages 28 in the KAM Guidebook for examples.
Other Annotation Sources The University of Wisconsin-Madison and Cornell University have great material to get you started on annotations as well as some examples to read for your learning enjoyment. University of Wisconsin-Madison Annotations Cornell University Annotations
