Midwest Research-to-Practice Thursday, October 02, 2008 Saturday, October 04, 2008 This residency has been cancelled. Professional Conference ResidenciesWalden University’s Professional Conference Residencies are for advanced Ph.D. students. Instead of fulfilling Milestone 4 at a Walden residency, students may choose to attend a Walden approved professional conference at any time after completing the Milestone 2 (second) residency. Students who have attended less than two residencies are not eligible to earn residency units at professional conferences. The Richard W. Riley College of Education has approved of the Midwest Practice-to-Research Professional Conference as meeting a 4-day residency requirement in replacement for a Milestone 4 residency. This opportunity provides students with an experience of attending a conference to learn the current research and trends in education. Residency Requirements
To meet the Walden University academic residency requirements, you must register directly with the NECC annual conference AND you must also register for the Walden residency. Students will be responsible for registration costs required by the professional organization.
