NMBA-6351 Legal Environment of Business

Representative Course Description:

An introduction to legal principles and their relationships to business organizations. Includes a review of the laws and regulations that govern their operations. Explores the background and origin of the U.S. legal system, its law enforcement agencies and the legal procedures used by the government to enforce its laws. Representative topics include the American legal system, the court system, torts, bankruptcy and regulatory law. A substantial portion of the course deals with contract law.
